In normal organizations there are command structures and functional groups, [such as] designers, engineers, so communication gets tricky. We have a modified structure such that each team has a cross section of skill sets. Companies typically hire people who have experience in a specific arena. Our teams put forth leaders who may not be the most experienced but who have a genuine interest and passion for the project, and then once that project finishes and a new one begins, a new leader can emerge. We’ve found this to create a much more genuine team dynamic.
