On the next day, we went to Bratislava (http://www.bratislava.sk/en/). A return ticket to the Slovakian capital costs only 14 EUR - that's soooo cheap. This picture shows the front of the Grassalkovich Palace (1760s), residence of the President.

The eastern wing of the Old Town Hall. The colourful roof dates from 1913.
The fountain of Saint George in the courtyard of the Primate's Palace dates from the 17th century.

The bridge tower contains a restaurant. Also note the modern parts of Bratislava on the other side of the Danube. The bridge was opened in 1971.
